I’ve spent my life
starting again.
This time I’m
building for keeps.

A South African founder, now in Ireland. Building ANARCRIS, learning from what came before, and looking for the right people to help turn possibility into something lasting.

The beginning

My life began with a future no one could promise.

I was born in South Africa. When I was three, a car accident killed my father and left me partially paralysed.

My mother was told I could suffer serious mental impairment. She refused to accept that as the limit of my future. Years of physical therapy followed, continuing into my teenage years.

I grew into a curious, intellectually capable and independent-minded adult. What stayed with me was the knowledge that an early prognosis does not have to become the whole story of a life.

I have carried that belief into almost everything I have tried to build.

A pattern of starting again

Different ventures.
The same need to build.

I have worked, studied, tried, stopped and started over. Each chapter left me with something I could use in the next.

  1. 01

    Learning by doing

Hospitality in England. A small takeaway and spaza business with my uncle. Journalism studies and television production work connected to MultiChoice.

  2. 02

    Getting closer to ownership

An attempted restaurant/bar acquisition, then restaurant management in Johannesburg. Ideas for Muse Café and a venue built around original sayings and a different way of thinking.

  3. 03

    Making something tangible

Juan Diablo, later Dia Noche. Flavours, bottles, sales calls and promotions. Then butchery management and, eventually, a move to Ireland.

  4. 04

    Building beyond a place

NeumaNine. ANARCRIS. AI and automation. New tools made global ventures possible, while exposing an old habit: perfecting the work instead of getting it into the world.

The drinks business
From an idea to something you could hold.

Juan Diablo / Dia Noche

An idea behind a bar.
A product in my hands.

While managing a restaurant/bar in Johannesburg, I conceived a flavoured-tequila concept and began developing the mixtures and flavours.

More than a name on a presentation.

I conceived the Juan Diablo name and its original direction. An advertising agency connected to the investors developed the final visual identity under my direction.

I became co-founder and Chief of Operations, with 10% ownership and a small salary. I mixed, bottled and capped product. I sold to venues, sourced stockists, organised promotions and worked on future product ideas.

The archived sales presenter still carries my name and role.

NeumaNine

A beautiful site.
An unworkable model.

I built a WordPress and WooCommerce supplement and beauty concept myself, with help from AI tools. It did not make sales.

The private-label suppliers I found were either too expensive or required minimum order quantities I could not realistically meet.

At the same time, I was working full-time and obsessively perfecting the website. I burned myself out before the supply model became viable.

The lesson stayed with me: a polished website cannot make the economics work.

Challenge Yourself.

Challenge Everything.

Clothing as an expression of who you are.

The idea behind the name

Why ANARCRIS exists

Something physical.
Something that means something.

ANARCRIS came after NeumaNine, when AI and e-commerce made building a global product brand more accessible.

The idea underneath it was much older. It had appeared in Muse Café, an inspirational coffee-shop concept; in a restaurant/bar idea; and in Juan Diablo’s exploration of duality and “Stand Out.”

I wanted to create clothing that carried that energy. Something people could feel comfortable, confident and authentically themselves in.

The philosophy

Sovereign Anarchy.

The internal fight between light and dark. And the decision to stop pretending that only one side belongs.

Kindness, love, curiosity and ambition. Anger, pain and darkness. I see them as parts of the same human experience: material to understand and grow from, rather than parts of myself to deny.

It means remaining true to yourself and questioning conformity that has no meaning. A wolf among sheep, not because others are beneath you, but because you refuse to follow the herd blindly.

Challenge Yourself.
Challenge Everything.

The philosophy predates ANARCRIS by many years. The brand gives it a physical expression.

The idea, made wearable

Comfortable.
Confident.
Entirely yourself.

The philosophy becomes something you can put on. The business begins when someone chooses it.

The first orders ↓

First commercial proof

Small numbers.
A real beginning.

ANARCRIS launched after I returned from South Africa in January 2026. The early products included hoodies and leggings.

First, people I knew ordered. Then people overseas, with no personal connection to me, bought something I had created. That mattered more than the numbers alone could explain.

It challenged my own doubts. It was exciting, and it scared me: what if this could actually work?

“I built the machine to help the business, then became more focused on the machine than the business.”

The AI / automation trap

The machine was meant to serve the business.

My full-time hospitality job consumed much of my time and mental energy. I started building AI systems to help operate and market ANARCRIS, and eventually other ventures.

What began as a practical way to save time grew into a broader AI-company operating system.

I stopped giving enough attention to the work that could produce revenue. The lesson now is to put the tools back in service of customers, creativity and useful results.

Why now

I need to turn building into momentum.

I know I can start things. The next challenge is to make them last.

I am bringing the story, the work and the lessons into one place so that the right people can understand what I am trying to do, see what already exists, and help me focus.

More ANARCRIS sales. Paying AI and creative clients. A growing audience for my DoNasimento music. Mentorship, investment conversations and a stronger professional network.

My first independence milestoneMore than €3,000 net per month from my own work.A personal target, not current earnings or a promised outcome.

Portugal

A place to build
a freer life.

Portugal has been on my mind for years: my Portuguese heritage, the climate, life in Europe, and a personal pull I find difficult to explain.

One day, it could be home for me and potentially a base for my mother, sister and aunt.

The aim is to build independent work that can travel with me. Portugal is the environment I imagine for that life; the work is what makes it possible.

The long-term dream

Build things that support a life.
Then build things that outlast it.

Multiple income streams. Financial independence. The freedom to work from Portugal, or anywhere. A global ANARCRIS brand, another chapter for the drinks business, and ventures that create useful opportunities for other people.

Independence

Revenue from products, creative work and services. A life less dependent on one employer or one idea.

Enduring businesses

Grow ANARCRIS with discipline, develop new ventures and recreate the tequila project with the benefit of experience.

Meaningful impact

Support animal and children’s charities, and educational projects that help people challenge limiting assumptions and build better lives.

ANARCRISA brand first. A broader group, in time.

What ANARCRIS could become

A brand first.
A broader group, in time.

I see ANARCRIS becoming a premium global company and eventually a holding company. Fashion could lead into fragrance, drinks, technology, apps, hospitality software, property, media and education.

Some future businesses could direct 100% of their profits to animal and children’s causes.

These are long-term ambitions, not a description of existing companies or established charitable programmes. The next step is to grow the brand already in front of me.

The tequila project

A chapter I still want to reopen.

I want to recreate and relaunch the drinks business, with a clearer foundation and everything the first experience taught me.

I am interested in meeting people with production, distribution, brand-building and drinks-industry experience. The work would begin with a viable plan, the right partners and a clear understanding of the name and product rights.

Discuss the future drinks project

How people can help

One good conversation can change the next chapter.

I am looking for people who can help me focus, reach customers, build sound businesses and find opportunities I cannot see alone.

You do not need to have every answer. A useful introduction, honest perspective, commercial opportunity or willingness to share the story can matter.
